Bike runs excellent. You can ride coast to coast if needed. Starts 1 or 2 cranks every time w/ new PVL race ignition. Every part of this motorcycle was rebuilt….replaced new, polished, powder coated, etc. ENGINE; every serviceable part is new. Stock bore….really…. bike had about 4000 miles on engine. When I disassembled I was amazed at the condition of ALL internals. Bore was honed and miced out perfect. Rebuilt crankshaft w/ new bearing and seals. Reassembled w/ .000 runout. New pistons, rings, wrist pins, etc. New Barnett clutch. Carbs where perfect also, rebuilt and bored to 26 mm from the stock 24 mm. Custom velocity stacks w/ special machined in stainless steel screens that are hidden inside. Ports where polished mostly….raised exhaust port and intake slightly, wanted to keep motor more reliable than all-out race. Expansion chambers are hand built per race drawings I found. They are also adjustable for tuning. Pipes are very nice. New PVL race ignition. Unbelievable engine response w/ PVL. I highly recommend these ignitions for all older engines. I have installed 6 ea. of them w/ excellent results. FRAME; sugar blasted, 2 part urethane primer and 2 part urethane metallic silver. Swing-arm extended 2 inches. SUSPENSION; New 2 ea. rear progressive shocks. Front rebuilt and powder coated. WHEELS; both where totally rebuilt and trued w/ special tires and tubes. BRAKES / HUBS; all new (powder coated) and very custom machine work. (view pics). brake hubs are slotted and drilled for cooling. Very nice custom work. DRIVE; new heavy duty X chain o-ringed. Have 3 ea. new front sprockets and rear sprocket is custom machined for light weight. MISC; new custom rear-sets which can be indexed. They are knurled and polished. Wood craft clip-ons. steering stabilizer. nice new small racing headlight. tach. custom built nickel-metal hyd battery hidden under seat. PAINT; done by professional shop.
