1971 Honda Cl175 Cafe Racer
Up for auction is my 1971 Honda CL 175. This bike was purchased from a friend who made most of the modifications into the cafe racer style it has become.
The seat is a vintage Giuliari that retains it’s original springs and covering.
The tank is aluminum and headlamp is a vintage Benilli/Puch style with speedometer built in.
I rode this for a couple months around my local town and ran great until I disassembled to paint the tank and headlight a 50’s mint/turquoise color. During the disassembly I also replaced the Keihin’s with Mikuni VM20’s.
Bike was registered and has been in my spare room not running since paint summer of 2019. Bike will require minor wiring repair inside the headlight housing and connections to battery as currently most of the wiring was disconnected for painting it have not attempted to start it. This is not a show bike and will require time to repair/adjust as needed to be operational again. Oil was fresh prior to disassembly and battery has been on trickle since new a couple years ago.
I have one original key and will include my last registration with bill of sale.
