My motorcycle is inspired by three others: Carpy’s 1976 “G.C.R,” Santiago Motorcycle’s “Breitling Cafe Racer,” and the 1966 Honda Black Bomber. I spared no expense and made sure to get it serviced three or four times a year since I am not a mechanic. 13K miles. Kick AND electric start first time, every time (hot and cold). Used the highest quality (and nicest) parts. I also had a guy who was on the Discovery Channel cafe racer TV show a few times, make a custom metal bracket for my seat ($425) AND a black leather rolled seat ($285). The leather rolled seat is on a piece of metal, and is very substantive. It also detaches via Velcro, which allows you access to the battery et al.
