Up for sale is the head turning, conversation starting VINTAGE Steve McQueen like Custom 1972 Triumph T100 500cc Cafe Racer.
It was put together in Phoenix Arizona By British Speed Shop approx. 3-4 years ago from a basket case customer project. The engine numbers and frame numbers DO NOT MATCH! The frame is a 1972 with TITLE!! The engine is a 1966 T100SS.
The engine has been completely rebuilt from the sludge trap up. The pistons and cylinders are +.060 over. The head has new valves and springs. And there has been a Joe Hunt Magneto with color matching plug wires added to ensure the bike rides home safely at night! :)
The frame, fenders and oil tank have all been powder coated. The tank is House of Color Matte Black. The tires and tubes are new. Custom one off pass thru Flat Track exhaust side cover. Original seat pan with custom cafe racer foam shaped seat and covered.
The gauges do need to be rebuilt. They are the original Smith’s and are not presently working. The wheels are the original chrome, with a professionally applied flat black protectant.
This bike starts on the 1st or 2nd kick, regardless of weather conditions.
