1981 YAMAHA xs650 CAFE RACER!! This bike is my toy and hobby, and was most recently ridden at the San Francisco Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride where it got lots of compliments on the looks and sound. The front end is from a 2008 Suzuki GSX-R (triple tree, wheel, brake system) and comes with a brand new front tire. The rear tire has less than 1000mi on it. Brand new “Shorty” exhaust from Dime City Cycles. Digital speedo/tach. The engine was torn down a month ago and had all the seals replaced, and the carbs were professionally tuned by a licensed Yamaha service center (the guy who worked on it used to race for the Yamaha factory team back in the 90’s). Its a 34 year old bike with original tank, frame and rear wheel, so there are a few extremely minor clearcoat scratches from use, NO major scratches, dents, or breaks. The bike rides and handles like a dream, and is definitely a head turner no matter where it goes.
