THE WAR BIRD!! 1983 Honda Goldwing GL1100. Low mileage bike. Runs very nice. Please SEE VIDEO BELOW. Bike has been customized from front to back, but surprisingly is still 90% Honda Goldwing. Only non-Honda replacement parts are the usual aftermarket pieces that can be bought with a variety of choices: headlight, clip-ons, tail light, seat, etc. Most of those items are universal by design. The replacement parts that are not Honda and are OEM are the gas tank (came from a very nice low mileage Suzuki GS1000). Tank is very clean inside, and the rear shocks are Harley Davidson Road King air shocks with Hyperco coil assist. As mentioned, bike has obviously a lot of custom aftermarket upgrades. Bike now weighs in at 435 pounds. Quite a difference from a stock Goldwing. I would compare it’s newfound agility and power to that of a Suzuki 2002 Bandit 1200S that I had owned new back in the day. Very good performance.
