For sale is a freshly built RD400 race bike. The porting is done by Kevin Cameron with the top end just getting rebuilt by JVE cycles. It has new Excel rims with Buchanan spokes. The bike has freshly rebuilt VM34 Mikunis carbs. Fresh intake boots with cross over tube. It comes with a dual exhaust gas temp guage and a battery powered Scitsu tachometer gauge. The bike also has a PVL race ignition. I have a C.A.D. drawing for the base gasket that any local CNC machinist can make, and is currently on the bike. The bike made 54 HP on the Halls dyno of Hall’s Custom Vintage in NC. Power starts at 6.5k and runs smoothly to 10k before falling off. With brake in and more tuning there is no reason why it couldn’t make more. I am selling to fund other race bike builds. I can ship through any motorcycle shipper as well.
