1973 HONDA CB350F CAFE RACER Just completed build. Every part is either new, rebuilt, powder coated, polished, etc. One-off, special bike, runs perfect. Everything functions as new. I am a 56 year old machinist and have been building cars and bikes all my live. This cafe racer is my latest creation. Bike is stretched 5″, and lowered 4″. I wanted engine to rev high and sound like the old vintage Honda race bikes. Engine is new with high lift Web race cam, machined top of cylinder and head .040″ to raise compression to around 11-1 compression. Cam timing is degreed in per Web cams timing card. I hand built custom race replica exhaust megaphones per drawings I found. Motor runs perfect and pulls like no other 350 cc bike. The sound of the megaphones, with high RPM cam and high compression is EAR SPLITTING. Ignition is Hondaman Transistorized, with Dyna performance coils. Carbs have special velocity stacks with stainless steel screens inserted about mid way. Only have around 20 miles on bike, with 3 ea. Bel Ray synthetic oil and filter changes. She sounds and runs awesome.
